Our story
From generation to generation, the work has always been personal.
Northern Valley Affairs is rooted in service to the Greater New York and Northern New Jersey Jewish community. The Bernstein and Friedman families helped build the kind of event hospitality where families felt known, vendors felt coordinated, and guests felt genuinely welcomed.
At Temple Emanu-El in Closter, the experience is shaped by the building itself: a memorable sanctuary, a stained-glass dome, and a Grand Ballroom that can be transformed for weddings, mitzvahs, galas, and private celebrations.
The team works with hosts on food, service, timing, decor, vendor flow, and the practical details that let the event feel polished without feeling cold.
